The Law on Planning
and Construction of 2009 imposed new duties to municipalities and towns, with
short deadlines for implementation. The system of planning and planning
documents is partly changed, and a number of by-laws are not brought so far, so
there are lots of unclear elements. The importance of processes related to
planning and construction for local governments is reflected in the fact that
it is directly related to the competitiveness of the municipality and the
provision of quality services to citizens - the length of procedures for issuing construction permissions depends
on the number and quality of urban plans, which is one of the criteria to rank
the municipalities in terms of their competitiveness for investment.
The training is designed for municipal employees who
work in the field of spatial planning and construction, employees in the LED
offices, and other employees in the city / municipal governments. After the
training, participants will receive certificates of participation.
