Closing conference and awarding ceremony within the project "Schools for better air quality"

UNICEF and Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM), with the support of the Government of Kingdom of Norway, are organizing the closing conference and awarding ceremony within the project "Schools for better air quality: citizen-based monitoring, STEM education and youth activism in Serbia".

The conference will be held on July 3, 2023, in Belgrade, at Botanical Garden "Jevremovac" (Ulica Takovska 43), starting at 12am.

During two years of project implementation , SCTM worked together with partners to increase the capacity of local self-government units to create and improve policies in the area of air quality improvement an protection, with a special reference to inclusion of youth in the process of creating public policies.

As part of the final conference, awards and recognition for "Community dedicated to good air" will be presented to local self-governments that participated in the project and demonstrated the greatest progress in reducing air pollution, where youth from local communities was included.
