Info day on the EU Integra Programme call for proposals held in Niš

On 9 September 2025, an Info Day was held at the SKIP Centre in Niš, with online streaming, to present the Call for Proposals under the programme “EU Support to Integrated Territorial Development – EU INTEGRA.” The event provided an opportunity for potential applicants to learn in detail about the programme objectives, eligibility criteria and application procedures. The call remains open until 8 October 2025.

The EU INTEGRA programme, worth EUR 15 million and financed by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III), is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of European Integration, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) and UNOPS. The programme is aimed at modernising and strengthening the capacities of local governments through the application of European models of integrated territorial and sustainable urban development, encouraging multi-sectoral partnerships and the preparation of development plans in line with the EU Cohesion Policy.

The current call enables local governments and their partners to implement territorial strategies developed during the previous cycle of EU support. Projects are expected to deliver tangible improvements for local communities – from strengthening urban identity and advancing the green transition, to sustainable mobility, innovative economy, improved social wellbeing and more effective use of EU funds.

The total budget of this call amounts to EUR 4.72 million and is intended for towns and municipalities that developed territorial strategies under the EU PRO Plus programme. Support is available in the amount of EUR 100,000 to 500,000 for projects within a single local government area, and from EUR 500,000 to 1,500,000 for projects involving several local governments.

The EU INTEGRA programme runs from January 2025 to January 2029. The component implemented by SCTM includes a grant scheme worth EUR 10.14 million, as well as support to local governments in preparing and implementing projects.
