e-Learning
An e-Learning platform within the Training Center was established in 2014. Since then, several trainings have been implemented on the following topics, which were successfully attended by several thousand participants:
- Local economic development
- Decentralization and local self-government system in Serbia
- Good governance and gender equality
- Financial management and control at the local level
- Capacity building of local inspection services
- Asylum and migration
- Local self-government system and application of the principles of good governance
- Good environmental management at the local level
- Human resources management
- Implementation of the Law on General Administrative Procedure in Local Self-Government
The platform is a very useful and economical way to educate local self-government officials who do not have to travel to the training venue, i.e. they can access the system from their workplace or from home.
The trainings are carried out by trainers/experts (mentors) with years of experience in working with local self-government. Participants receive the materials electronically, take the tests online once a week, and help and advice from mentors are available through chat.
