P2P Workshop for Mobile Teams for Roma Inclusion

The Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) organized the fourth peer-to-peer (P2P) workshop for Mobile Teams for Roma Inclusion on 5 and 6 November 2025 in Inđija. The workshops are organized with the aim of strengthening the capacities and enabling the exchange of experiences among Mobile Teams for Roma Inclusion through the P2P methodology, as one of the methods for sharing knowledge and practices.

During the two-day workshop, 29 participants from 18 cities and municipalities that have established Mobile Teams for Roma Inclusion discussed social protection services within the competence of local self-governments. On this occasion, two workshops were also organized, during which ideas for improving the provision of social protection services at the local level were presented through practical work.

The P2P workshop was organized within the project “Support to sustainable community-based social services and inclusion policies at the local level”, funded by the European Union. The Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs is responsible for the implementation of the project, while SCTM acts as the implementation partner.

The implementation of this project will create conditions for improving the quality and scope of social protection services and for encouraging the inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups, particularly the Roma population, at the local level. This will contribute to improving the effectiveness of social inclusion policies in order to promote equal opportunities and the active participation of women and men.
