Ruma - Training for employees of the Center for Integration of Public Property Information

Improvement of capacity in the field of public property management of employees in the municipality of Ruma is continuously implemented through the project "Integrated approach to public property management in the municipalities of Stara Pazova and Ruma" within the framework of the Exchange 5 grant scheme

Training for employees of the "Center for Integration of Public Property Information" in Ruma, held on January 23 at City Hall. It was implemented for twelve municipal employees, after an analysis of the current organizational structure in public property management and drafting of improved procedures and levels of communication within different organizational units.

As part of the training, a proposal for new work procedures, instructions, and new communication protocols was presented to municipal officials.

The training is the third of the planned six trainings to be organized for municipal officials in Stara Pazova and Ruma under this project. New approaches to integrated municipal property management contribute to creating a favorable environment for further economic development of Stara Pazova and Ruma municipalities, which is the overall objective of this project.

The project is implemented under the Exchange 5 Programme, which is funded by the European Union from the IPA 2014 allocation, and implemented by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in cooperation with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities as an implementing partner. The contracting authority for all grant scheme projects is the Ministry of Finance / Department for Contracting and Financing of European Union Funded Programs (CFCU).

Exchange 5 is designed for cities and municipalities in Serbia to support effective asset management and support in strategic planning and program budgeting. The main support modalities are the allocation of funds to cities and municipalities through a grant scheme and technical assistance.
